Galactica Network Public TestNet V1.0 - Launch in March
Galactica is elated to declare the public unveiling of TestNet V1.0. We extend a warm invitation to developers, validators, and pioneers to engage in the TestNet and delve into the technological marvels of Galactica Network. The TestNet serves as a gateway for users to immerse themselves in the foundational technology driving Galactica Network: zero-knowledge KYC (zkKYC), empowering the web3 space to achieve regulatory compliance while upholding user privacy. As a harbinger of RegTech interoperability, Galactica Network endeavors to establish a sturdy framework for groundbreaking tools that bridge the realms of DeFi and TradFi, and proposes enhanced methodologies for managing identity and reputation.
For Developers & Validators
TestNet V1.0 seamlessly carries forward the development journey initiated by the DevNet. We actively seek feedback and input from the community to ensure a cutting-edge on-chain experience that prioritizes compliant privacy.
Notable updates include a refined zkKYC issuance process (eliminating the need for MetaMask Flask), the ability to deploy validators, as well as Proto-Governance v1.0 and Reputation v1.0 (which are scheduled for release to the public in TestNet v1.1 in Q2 of 2024). Further updates during the TestNet phase will be revealed shortly, so stay tuned for forthcoming announcements.

Validator Consideration
Individuals interested in becoming validators are encouraged to review the provided documentation. It's important to note that to participate as a validator during the MainNet launch, one must obtain Galactica Network Citizenship. TestNet V1.0 Voyager Arc Campaign
Following the TestNet launch, akin to our previous DevNet initiative, we are excited to unveil the Voyager Arc campaign. This initiative offers selected participants the opportunity to earn Galactica Network Citizenships. Additionally, participation in the Voyager Arc is a prerequisite for those aspiring to attain Wave 3 or Wave 2 GNCs by advancing to Espada or Elysium ranks in the Cypher State Campaign.
Launch Details
A select group of esteemed validators will be designated as part of the Genesis TestNet V1.0 Validators Cohort, and the TestNet is scheduled for launch sometime in the third week of March.
